In a calm conversation almost any candidate looks good. Our assessment puts candidates under pressure and conflict, and that's where what the interview didn't show comes out. These are real results (candidate data removed), and why none of them reached a family.
Trust is built on verified information. That's exactly what we do for you.
Grow strong from the start, instead of healing later
"When we truly see children for who they are, not who we want them to be, and give them space to grow without imposing adult expectations, they develop stronger emotional foundations for life."
"So many adults spend years trying to heal what they didn't receive early on. I started Totters to help create a different path: children growing up with supportive systems, emotionally aware adults and environments that let them thrive from the beginning."

We stay closeTwo ways to your perfect match
It all starts with your family's assessment. Based on what your children need, your Totter comes from one of two paths.
Ready-to-go match
If the Totter your family needs is already part of our team, we introduce her right away. She has passed all 6 filters and knows how we work.
Tailor-made recruitment
If your needs go beyond our current team, or our Totters are all already matched with other families, we launch a search designed around your family: the profile, languages and experience you need. Every candidate goes through the same 6 filters and all our safety guarantees.
Either way, you meet her before day one, with the same guarantees.

Experience, ages, references
We check every CV against the facts: where she worked, with which ages, for how long and why she left. References get a call, not a glance.

Case-based and competency interviews
Real situations, real judgment
A tantrum that won't end, a fall at the park, an instruction she disagrees with. Why it matters to you:
- Shows how she thinks, not how well she interviews
- Predicts real behavior, because she walks us through what she'd actually do
- Same cases for every candidate, so we compare on evidence
- Her limits and emergency response are clear before she meets your child

Your questions, answered
How many children can one Totter care for?
- Up to 2 children of similar ages per Totter.
- For every third child, a new Totter is needed (newborn to 13 years).
- Babies under 1 year always get an exclusive Totter.
These ratios are how we guarantee real attention and safety for every child.
Is there a minimum?
Yes, every service is at least 4 hours per Totter.
What's the difference between bilingual and Spanish-speaking?
A bilingual Totter speaks English and Spanish with your children (USD 25 an hour). A Spanish-speaking Totter cares for them in Spanish (USD 20 an hour). Both go through the same 6 filters.
Can you care for children at a wedding or event?
Yes. We send a team of Totters with the right ratios and plan activities for the ages of the children attending. Share the venue details and we'll prepare the materials.
Will I know who is coming?
Yes. We introduce the Totter assigned to your family before the service, with her introduction video.
Are Totters trained for emergencies?
Every Totter is certified in CPR, pediatric first aid and choking response, and follows written protocols for falls, fever, allergies, medication and calling emergency services.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better, especially for weekends, holidays and events. Message us as soon as you have a date.
Ready for a worry-free night out?
